Junior high school

When I was in the Junior High School, I joined two clubs. They were the dance Club and the drama Club. I joined those clubs because I love art, especially dance and acting. I had dance on Sunday mornings and acting on Mondays at 4 p.m.

One day my dance club joined a dance competition. There were eight clubs joining the competition. At first , our club won the match. Then , we had to defeat one club to get to the final. Fortunately, we won again. After those two matches, we had lunch in the cafeteria. We were so impatient to play in the last game. It was the hard one because our opponent was very strong . Finally , we won the game with a nice score of 32 points.

We were so tired. However, we were happy and proud to be the winner of the competition. It was a very interesting competition in my experience.

procedure(02):How to make pizza

How to make pizza

Ingredients:

Gram flour (chickpea flour),
yogurt,
garlic, green chillies, ginger (crushed, finely chopped or paste),
salt, pepper, sodium bicarbonate,
oil (any low flavour oil such as sunflower or rapeseed will do),
any "pizza toppings" you like. Be adventurous with your experimentation. (Have a look at the photo to see what we used, we also added red chilli flakes).

step 1 Make the base.
-If you are using any frozen ingredients, take them out of the freezer now..
-Carefully mix the gram flour and yogurt in a large mixing bowl, making sure not to leave any lumps.
-Mix in the garlic, ginger, chilli, salt and pepper, but NOT the sodium bicarbonate.
-The mixture may look too thick to make pancakes, but don't add any water yet, you'll see why later.
-Leave to stand while you move on to the next step.

step 2Prepare the toppings.
Even though we're calling them "toppings", we added all the other ingredients to the base mixture before cooking. You can actually top the pudas if you prefer, or add some ingredients to the base mixture and use some as toppings. Experiment!

-If you are going to add some or all of your other ingredients to the base mixture, we recommend you finely chop or grate them first, so that everything cooks evenly.

-add the chopped ingredients to the base mixture and leave to stand for around 30 minutes.
-In the mean time, prepare the toppings.

step 3Final seasoning.
-After the mixture has rested for about 30 minutes, pre-heat your pan.
-Depending on the ingredients you added to the base mixture, you'll find that the salt has caused water to release from some of them, making the mixture thinner.
-Give it a stir and if it's still too thick, add a little water, or if it's too thin, add a little gram flour, until you get the consistency you want.
-Have a taste and season until you're satisfied.
-Add a tablespoon of oil and stir well.
-spray or rub the pan with oil. (Carefully! The pan should be hot by now.)
-Add a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate, stir thoroughly and QUICKLY move on to the next step.
-If you are making quite a large quantity, separate the mixture into batches and add the sodium bicarbonate to each batch just before you use it.

step 4 Cook 'em.
-Add a ladleful of the mixture to the pan and quickly spread it out to make a pancake about 4-5mm thick.
-Add any additional toppings straight away and lightly press them into the puda.
-When the puda feels like it will come away from the pan easily, flip it over. We recommend not trying to toss it like a pancake but hey, it's your kitchen! Just make sure to clean up properly.
-When the other side also feels cooked enough, transfer to a plate and lather, rinse, repeat.
-You may need to re-oil the pan from time to time. Unless you have a great non-stick coating on yours, in which case you wont n eed to oil it at all.

The unlucky day

Do you ever unlucky one day? I’m ever get it. In the Tuesday, when I want went to school, in the street I take traffic jam, it make me boring, and I confuse if I was late. And sure I was really late. And I got punishment to run around the school. After that in the first lesson, in art lesson there was a test will be held. And I not yet study, and I show my score is bad. Because I dint know to finished it, and I don’t bring the instrument to did it. Like ruler, eraser, because my box pencil in the house, after that there was english day, oh my.. the teacher said if all blog must be complete this week until sixteen, and I still did until 7 item. And the book exercise must be complete this day. After that I go to region lesson, oh my… when I walked my shirt was wet because the water and I forget to bring my jilbab. After than when the break time was coming and all student went to the canteen. I forget to take my money, so I couldn’t went to the canteen. After than when I want go to third floor, the cleaning service was cleaned the floor, so the floor was wet. And I falling down. Oh god.. I get much trouble I this day.

Participation on 17 august

Last year in 17 august, its first time I join to the karang taruna organisation. karang taruna have many function like doing something in the independence day, etc. I join to the karang taruna because I’m sixteen old, and all teenagers in my environment must join with it. I like it. Because I’m to be jury in this moment.

There are many competition which we have. Like balap karung, kelereng in bottle, make a cake, run flag, singing, put some tools in the bottle, eating kerupuk, etc. I have many sister and bother who to be participant in this competition. And when my brother to be first winner in the eating kerupuk competition, there are many people don’t like it. They thing I’m lie. But the fact there are the other jury who support me and say if I don’t guilty.

Suddenly, when the competition was held, the rain was fall. The other jury and I decided to depends our competition until the rain is stop. But the participant say to continue this party, because the leader RW has a tend to make all people are dry. So the party of independence still be held. And finally, we get the winner of all competition. One of them is my sister.

And may be next year, I will join again to the karang taruna. To do the other event.

My holiday in Bandung

Last holiday, my family went to the Bandung, in the Geger Kalong. street My grandma house was in the north Bandung. When we went to the Bandung, we bring t-shirt, coat, stocking, wear cloths,etc. we left Jakarta at 07.00. we went to Bandung with train. We arrived in grandmother house at 10.00

When we arrived, my grand mother was happy. My grand mother cooked karedok for me. Karedok is salad from west java, with seasoning peanut sauce and hot chilly. After vhat we followed my uncle. We went to empang. In empang sisters and I wanted to fish. My grand mother gave me box food and the name was colenak(Dicocol enak). It was made of for peyem. Peyem was sweet potato. When we were fishing, we got 4 big fish.

In the evening, we took a bath in the waterfall, this water is so cold. Second day, my aunt wanted to ride bicycle, and we ride bicycle together. So we were riding bicycle surrounding the village. At 13.00 o’clock, we went to Tangkuban perahu, wow the fact, tangkuban perahu more amazing and funtastic than n the photo’s. there are many tourism.and I take picture many pictures for my collection photo. We went to Jakarta with train too. We arrived in Jakarta at 09.00 o’clock. It amazing holiday

My mother

I really love my description mother. Because she makes me there in the world. My mother was born at Bandung, September 14th 1996. my mother lived in the Bandung city until she became teenager. And in the sixteen year old, she lived in jakarta. Because she got a senior high school in Jakarta.
My mother has white skin, her hair is short and curly, the colour of her hair is black. She has an oval face. The number of her shoes is 39. My mother has slim body, but she is a strong women. My mother can do everything, like teaches me about my lesson, hear about my problem, keeps me until grow up, and can cooking delicious food.
My mother is busy every day. But, she does not work in office, she just works at home. My mothers very good and the best people in my mind. In the morning, she must get up early, to prepare our breakfast. When I come back to my home. I see my mother sleep because she is very tired. In the night, my mother taught us, how to read al-quran. And my mother always say”You must to pray to the God”
My mother doesn’t have any favorite colour or favorite food or shopping hobby. But when holiday or Sunday, my mother always goes any where with family, usually she goes to the restaurant to try traditional food. And her hobby is read everything like read newspaper, al-quran, magazine, until hadist,etc. So she has much knowledge.
My mother is everything for me, she is the best people in the world.

One morning Nasreddin and his friend, Hasyim, Ahmed and Ali had a chat at café. After a while they said that they were very hungry. So, Nasreddin invited them to have breakfast at his house half an hour later. Then Nasreddin went to home.

At home nasreddin told his wife, zahwa that he had invited his friend, to come and have breakfast there. His wife was very upset because they had nothing to cook.

“Why did you invite them to have breakfast here! We don’t have anything to cook,” his wife complained.

“Sorry , I did not remember it.” Said Nesreddin.

Then they saw from distance that Nasreddin`s friend were coming. He went out through the back door and hid behind the house. A moment later the guests knocked at the door. His wife opened the door and said that Nasreddin was out.

“But, I saw he was just now,” said one of the guests.

Nasreddin`s wife was so confused that she could not answer.

Once upon a time , there was a farmer living in a small village in England. His name was Jack. He was a kind and wise man. He liked to help his neighbors.

Jack had a mill machine. People came to his place to mill their grain. Jack served them happily. However, his wife was a very stingy mean women. She often complain She was angry every time Jack spared some food to the neighbors.

One day, a fairy dropped at their house. The fairy gave them a bowl of magic flour. The wife took half and cooked it porridge. She was eating it and said, “I wish all the flour at this place turned into gold.” From that moment, all the flour at Jack`s place turned into gold.

When people came to mill their grain, the grain turned into gold, too. At first, they were happy because they had a lot of gold. However, after several weeks there was no flour at the village. Instead, there was gold anywhere. Everybody was hungry and unhappy.

One day, Jack was cleaning his house. Suddenly, he found the bowl of the magi flour. He cooked and ate it.

“Oh, I miss the flour. I wish all the gold turned into flour again” he said. Suddenly, all the gold turned into flour . Everybody was happy.

The koala has a large round head, large round furry ears, a stout body. It has long arms with powerful claws. The first two fingers on its paws are both like thumbs, with strong nails that wrap around the branches to give it a firm grip. It has short legs and large feet.

It is covered in thick ash-grey fur, with white on their chests, inner arms, and ears. They have a stub tail and the fur on its bottom is densely packed to provide comfort when sitting on hard branches. This fur has a 'speckled' appearance which makes koalas hard to spot from the ground.

Their bodies are very rounded due to their very large intestines which are needed to digest eucalyptus leaves. Due to the low amount of energy that koalas obtain from their leafy diet they spend twenty hours of the day, or more, sleeping or resting in gum trees, the remainder of the time is spent feeding, moving around, grooming and social interaction. Koalas are mainly active during the night, at dawn and dusk. They use loud grunts and squeals to communicate.
On hot days they can be seen with their limbs dangling in an effort to keep cool, and during colder times, curled up in a ball to conserve body heat.
They grow to a length of 60-85 cm.
The male weighs up to 13.5 kg, the female up to 7.9kg.
The koala is more closely related to the wombat than to any other living marsupial, but the relationship is not close.

Koalas rub their chests against trees to mark their territory.
They are docile animals except when teased or frightened.

The life-span of a wild koala is approximately 10-12 years, with koalas in captivity reaching ages of 15 to 18 years.

Whilst the koala is an excellent swimmer, this is not a regular occurrence. They are able to cross rivers to escape from heavy flooding.
They occasionally jump from one tree to the next.

HABITAT AND DISTRIBUTION:
The koala is found in open eucalypt forests and lightly wooded regions from south-east Queensland to south-east South Australia. Because their food is restricted to the leaves of certain eucalypts, they live almost exclusively in the highest branches of these trees.

BREEDING:
Koalas normally breed only once every two years.
Females generally start breeding at about three or four years of age and usually produce only one offspring each year. However, due to age and quality of habitat not all females in the wild will breed each year. Some produce offspring only every two or three years.

The breeding season is during spring and summer (September to March). During this time the male koala calls loudly to attract a mate.
About 35 days after mating the baby, called a joey, is born. It is only 2cm long, blind, naked, and earless. Relying on its already well-developed senses of smell and touch, it makes its way, unaided, up through the fur from the external opening of the birth canal to the pouch. The mother has a backwards facing (or upside down) pouch.
Once inside the pouch, the young koala attaches itself to one of its mother's two nipples, which swells to fill its mouth. This prevents the joey from being dislodged from its source of food. The mother contracts her strong sphincter muscles at the pouch opening to prevent the baby from falling out.

From about 22 to 30 weeks, it begins to feed upon a substance called "pap" which the mother produces in addition to milk. Pap is a specialised form of faeces, or droppings, which forms an important part of the young koala's diet, allowing it to make the transition from milk to eucalypt leaves. Pap is soft and runny and thought to come from the caecum. It allows the mother to pass on micro-organisms present in her own digestive system which are essential to the digestion of eucalyptus leaves, and is a rich source of protein.

The people were very poor, because the king took all their money. The king had many soldiers, and the soldiers were cruel too. One day the king`s soldier brought a poor man to the palace, with not polite. And the king was angry.

The man didn’t have any money, so he couldn’t pay his taxes. From the king “if, you didn’t pay your immediately, I will kill you”. Said the king with lauder sound.

“I can’t pay”, said the poor man with afraid and nervous.

“Why?” said the king .

“because, I haven’t got any money.”

“Go away in my palace, now!!”

The next day, the king came to the man. The man felt to floor. “please let me went, your majesty.” He said .suddenly, the poor people had a brilliant idea. “if, you don’t kill me, I will teach your horse to talk.” The king had wonderful white horse , and he was very proud of it . the king are taught about it and he said ,”all right, you can have one year for do it. If you teach the horse talk .” I will give you gold and silver with very many. But if you don’t, I will kill you!

Two soldiers took the man to the horse stable. “You are stupid!”said one of soldiers. “the fact, you can’t teach a horse to talk. Its impossible. At the end of the year, the king will kill you.” “ah,” said the man. “I’m not stupid, before the end of the year four things might happen”. “The king might die. I might die. The horse might die…..or…. the horse might talk “ha..ha…ha… all people laugh hear that. “so, are you ready to die in the end of this year”

prosedure(01):Fried Rice

Fried Rice

Ingredients:

4 cups cold cooked rice
8 ounces cooked chicken (or substitute cooked turkey, etc.), chopped
2 eggs (more if desired)
1/2 cup green peas
1 medium onion, diced
1 green onion, diced
Seasonings (add according to taste):
Light Soy Sauce
Oyster sauce
Salt
Pepper
Oil for stir-frying, as needed

Step by step:

1. Beat the eggs lightly with chopsticks,
2. Add a dash of salt (Add a bit of oyster sauce if desired).
3. Chop the chicken meat and dice the onion and green onion.
4. Heat wok and add oil. When oil is ready, pour 1/2 of the egg mixture into the wok and cook over medium heat, turning over once.
5. Cook the other half the same way.
6. Cut the egg into thin strips, and save for later.
7. Stir-fry the onion on high heat for a few moments, remove and set aside. Do the same for the green peas.
8. Add oil, turn down the heat to medium and stir-fry the rice.
9. Add the soy sauce, salt, pepper and oyster sauce.
10. Add the chicken, onion and green peas and combine thoroughly.
11. Serve chicken fried rice with the strips of egg on top and the green onion as a garnish. (Alternately, you can mix the green onion and egg in with the other ingredients).

The Legend of “Lau Kawar”

Once upon a time, there was a big feast in Kawar village, tanah karo. The villagers celebrated their successful harvest. They were singing and dancing during feast.

Meanwhile, an old women was alone at home. She did not go to party because she was sick. When she felt hungry, she went to the kitchen. But, there was no foot there. She was very sad.

In the party, the son remembered his mother was at home. He wrapped some rice and a fresh fish for his mother.

The little girl run at home. But on her way, she stopped and eat the food. After eating the food , she wrapped the food again. When she arrived at home, she gave the food to the old women.

The old women unwrapped the food and felt very disappointed. There was only very little rice and a fish bake.

She cried and prayed to God , “oh God! I beg you to eliminate this place and . all the people here because they have forgotten an old women, like me!

Suddenly, thunder came. The sky turned dark. The land was shaking and then the turned into a bag crater. The rain was pouring on it. It did not stop for several days. When it stopped, the village disappeared. There was a large lake replaced it. People called it “Lau Kawar”. It means kawar lake.
